Lahore is the capital of Punjab and Pakistan’s cultural heart — a city of gardens, courts, and colleges that has been lived in for more than a thousand years. The Mughals left Badshahi Mosque, Lahore Fort, and the Shalimar Gardens. The Fort and Gardens have been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1981. The Pakistan Resolution was adopted here in 1940, on the ground that now holds Minar-e-Pakistan.
It is also a working tech city. University of the Punjab, UET, LUMS, FAST, ITU, and a dense ring of colleges sit inside the same metro as Arfa Karim Software Technology Park and the Punjab Information Technology Board. Software houses, product teams, and public-sector digital programmes already hire here. TSS plants a skills summit in that mix — not as a local meetup, as an annual brand.
Badshahi’s courtyard, the walled city, and a rising tech workforce share one map. The venue we choose will serve that mix: stages, labs, and a floor that feels like a summit, not a trade hall. The exact building publishes on this page first.

Built under Emperor Aurangzeb and still one of the largest mosques in the world. It faces Lahore Fort across Hazuri Bagh — the postcard of the old city.

01 · Campuses
Lahore is one of Pakistan’s densest higher-education maps: University of the Punjab, Government College University, UET, LUMS, FAST-NUCES, Information Technology University, National College of Arts, Forman Christian College, Kinnaird, and a long list of private campuses. Students are not a side audience here. They are the city’s ordinary traffic.
02 · Software
Arfa Software Technology Park sits in the middle of the city, named after Arfa Karim — who became a Microsoft Certified Professional at nine. It houses software firms, government digital teams, and incubation programmes. Lahore’s export and product work is not theoretical. It already has an address.
03 · Public digital
The Punjab Information Technology Board runs e-governance, skills, and startup programmes from Lahore. Plan9 and PlanX grew out of that stack. The National Incubation Center at LUMS is another door for early-stage founders. Public-sector capability is part of this market, not an afterthought.

Hotel lists lock with the venue. Until then, these are the parts of Lahore visitors already treat as a working map.
Liberty Market, MM Alam Road dining, and a deep hotel belt. The neighbourhood most visiting delegates already know — walkable evenings after a summit day.
Expo Centre Lahore, universities, and a practical stay cluster on the south-west side. Often the working geography for large events.
The colonial-era spine: museums, older hotels, and the road toward Allama Iqbal International. Useful if you want the city centre, not only new Lahore.
Planned phases, cafes, and evening restaurants. A common residential and dining base for people who already work in the city’s tech industry.
Androon Shehr — Delhi Gate, Wazir Khan Mosque, Fort Road Food Street, and the restored royal trail. Come for a night. Stay where the hotels are.
Leafy residential grids with serious food. Close enough to Gulberg and the canal that many locals treat them as one evening map.
Visitor guide
Everything a delegate needs will live on this page — not a week-of email. The building is still to come. The city is already usable.
Allama Iqbal International Airport sits on the south-east edge of the city. Domestic links cover Karachi, Islamabad, and Peshawar. International routes are strongest across the Gulf, with further connections into Europe and East Asia. Airport transfers publish with the venue.
The Orange Line metro train runs 27 km from Ali Town to Dera Gujran, with 26 stations — Pakistan’s first metro. The Metrobus follows Ferozepur Road. Both become useful the moment we can pin a building to a station.
Careem, Uber, inDrive, and Bykea are ordinary here. Traffic is real, especially late afternoon on Canal Road, Ferozepur Road, and into Gulberg. Budget more time than the map suggests.
Islamabad and Rawalpindi are about four hours on the M-2 motorway in clear traffic. Faisalabad, Multan, and Gujranwala are also road trips. Karachi is a flight. A visitor map and hotel cluster land here when the contract is signed.

October to March is the comfortable window: dry, clear, and kind to a full summit day. Summers regularly pass 40°C. Monsoon sits in July–September. Winter fog in December and January can delay flights — leave slack if you connect through LHE.
Punjabi and Urdu in the street. English in campuses, hotels, and the TSS programme. You will hear all three in the same room. The website and first-edition sessions are in English.
Lahore is Pakistan’s food capital. Nihari, paye, seekh kebab, lassi, and Fort Road Food Street after Badshahi. Gulberg and DHA cover everything from old-school Pakistani to late kitchens. Budget an evening for it — the city will insist.
Pakistani rupee. Cards work in hotels, malls, and ride-hailing; cash still matters in markets. Power is 230V, typically Type C, D, or G. SIM and eSIM desks sit in the airport arrivals hall.
A walled-city walk at dusk, Badshahi and the Fort, Shalimar Gardens, and — if you have a spare evening — the Wagah border ceremony about 30 km east. Liberty and Packages Mall are the easy retail hours.
