Tech Skills Summit introduces the skills Pakistan’s workplaces already use — so institutes can teach them, students can learn them, and we can grow the country together.
Why we exist
Industry has moved. Classrooms have to catch up.
Pakistan already has software houses, campuses, and a generation ready to build. The missing piece is a national effort that treats in-demand skills as the product — not a side note to a degree.
Industry is hiring for tools and practices that many institutes still do not teach. That gap is expensive: students graduate under-prepared, universities struggle to refresh curricula, and employers cannot find people who can ship.
Our work is to fill that gap. We introduce the latest skills in Pakistan, empower institutes and students to learn and teach them, and keep opening pathways — internships, programmes, and this summit — so academia and industry can move together.

The proof of work
Pakistan’s largest private-sector remote internship.
Before the summit, we ran a four-week programme that showed what happens when students get current tools — not only a syllabus.

850 people applied. Offers went to 650. 320 students completed the programme — across seven tracks, fully remote, in the private sector.
They were not only final-year or senior students. Participants came from FSc and ICS, and from first- and second-semester university programmes. Within four weeks they learned current tools, completed projects, and launched products. Many left with the confidence to keep building on their own.
That is the work Tech Skills Summit continues in public: introduce the skills, close the gap, and help Pakistan grow with them.

Tech Skills Summit is the public chapter of this work. More internship programmes and new ideas are on the way — all aimed at the same outcome: skills that travel from campus into industry.
The internship proved that serious skills training can scale across Pakistan on a remote basis — and that students well before a final semester can learn current tools, launch products, and start building with confidence.
The summit is how we take that mission national: a room in Lahore where educators, students, practitioners, and employers meet the technologies of this era, then leave able to teach, hire, and ship with them.

Why Lahore.
Lahore is a city of universities, software houses, and a generation already building. Hosting the first edition here is a statement: Pakistan’s flagship skills platform can be world-class without being somewhere else.
The venue will be announced on this site. The city is not a placeholder. Lahore, Pakistan is the home of TSS 2026 — and the next place this mission goes public.
