What Dafi Labs Private Limited collects for Tech Skills Summit 2026 in Lahore — registrations, applications, passes, and cookies — and what we do with it.
In plain terms
This notice explains how Dafi Labs Private Limited (“we”, “us”) collects and uses personal information when you use https://techskillssummit.com and take part in Tech Skills Summit 2026 in Lahore, Pakistan. It matches what this website actually does today — visitor registration, speaker applications, exhibitor enquiries, contact messages, event operations, and (when enabled) analytics.
Tech Skills Summit is organised by Dafi Labs Private Limited, a company based in Lahore, Pakistan. We are the organisation that decides why and how personal information on this site is used.
Questions, corrections, deletion requests, and marketing opt-outs: contact@dafilabs.com.
Press: contact@dafilabs.com. Exhibit and partnership: contact@dafilabs.com.
It covers personal information we collect through:
It does not cover other websites we link to (including social networks), or a separate paid-ticket checkout if we add one later. Those will have their own notices at the point of collection.
Pakistan does not yet have a standalone personal data protection act in force. We still follow this notice, the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act, 2016 (as amended), and the contracts we make with you. If a data protection statute is enacted, we will update this page.
We only ask for what we need to run the summit. Fields marked required on a form must be completed for that request to proceed.
Visitor registration (Register):
Speaker applications (Speak), in addition to the visitor fields:
Exhibitor and partner enquiries (Exhibit), in addition to contact fields:
Contact form (Contact):
We also process, as part of running the site and the event:
We do not currently collect payment card details on this website. Paid tickets, if introduced, will be described at checkout. We do not ask for CNIC, passport, or other government ID on these forms.
We use personal information to:
Registering or applying is not automatic approval. Until we email a confirmed pass or a speaking/exhibit confirmation, your submission is a request.
We rely on:
You can withdraw marketing consent at any time by writing to contact@dafilabs.com. Withdrawing consent does not affect essential emails about a registration you already made.
The public website itself does not set an advertising cookie wall. We do use:
We do not use the public site to run third-party advertising networks or to sell profiles to advertisers.
Transactional email is sent because you asked us to do something: a confirmation code, a visitor or speaker pass, a status update, or a reply to a message. You cannot opt out of those while your request is active, but you can ask us to delete the underlying record (see your rights below).
Marketing email is sent only if you opt in on a form. It may cover this edition, future editions of Tech Skills Summit, and related skills programmes run by Dafi Labs Private Limited. Every marketing send is limited to people who opted in. You can opt out by emailing contact@dafilabs.com.
If your registration is confirmed, we email a pass (PDF) that includes your name, role type, a badge code, and a QR code. Door staff scan that code to record attendance. The QR token is a credential for this event — do not post it publicly.
Check-in records (who scanned, when, and at which gate) are used to run the room and to understand attendance. They are not published.
Speaker applications are not listed automatically. If we accept you as a speaker, we may publish your name, organisation, photo, biography, talk title, topic, and website on this site and in related event materials.
Exhibitor and partner brands may be listed with company name, logo, website, and package level once we confirm the listing.
Organising-team members who choose to appear publicly may be shown with name, title, photo, and biography.
If you do not want a public listing, tell us before we publish, or write to contact@dafilabs.com afterwards and we will take the profile down. Talk recordings and press uses are covered in the terms of use.
Tech Skills Summit is a public professional event. We and authorised media may photograph, film, and livestream sessions, the exhibition floor, and public areas for reporting, archive, and promotion of this edition and future editions.
By attending, you understand you may appear in crowd or session footage. If you need to avoid cameras (for example a press-restricted guest), write to us in advance so we can try to accommodate you. Speakers on stage should assume their session may be recorded.
We do not sell personal information. We do not give exhibitor or sponsor mailing lists of visitors as a default product. If we later offer optional badge-scan lead sharing, we will say so clearly and update this notice before turning it on.
We do share information with processors who help us run the site, only as needed:
Staff at Dafi Labs Private Limited who need the information to do their job can see registration and enquiry records inside a private admin area.
We are based in Pakistan. Our hosting, database, email, and security vendors may process information on servers outside Pakistan, including in the United States, the European Union, or other regions those vendors use. We use them because the site cannot run without them.
If you are contacting us from another country, you understand your information will be processed in Pakistan and in those vendor locations.
We keep information only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected:
When we no longer need personal information, we delete it or remove identifiers so it is no longer about you.
We use HTTPS, hashed passwords for organiser accounts, hashed email confirmation codes, access-controlled admin tools (including optional two-factor authentication), and vendor security provided by our host and database. No online service is perfectly secure. Do not send payment card numbers to our general inbox.
You can write to contact@dafilabs.com to:
We will handle requests without undue delay. We may keep a limited record where we must (for example a used badge, a legal claim, or abuse prevention). We may need to verify it is you before we change or delete a record.
Tech Skills Summit is a professional skills event. The website is not directed at children under 16. Do not submit a form for someone under 16.
If you are 16 or 17, you may register as a student only with the consent of a parent, guardian, or your institute. By submitting a form you confirm you meet that rule. If we learn we have collected information from a child under 16, we will delete it.
We will update this notice when the site starts selling tickets, adds lead-sharing with exhibitors, or otherwise changes what we collect. The date at the top of this page is the latest version. Material changes will be reflected here before or as they go live.
This notice is governed by the laws of Pakistan. The courts of Lahore have jurisdiction over disputes about it, without limiting any rights you may have under mandatory consumer law.
