Terms of use

Tech Skills Summit (“TSS”) is an annual skills and talent summit organised by Dafi Labs Private Limited (“we”, “us”). The first edition is planned in Lahore, Pakistan. Dates and the exact venue are announced on this website when they are confirmed.

The site is provided so you can learn about the summit, register interest, apply to speak, enquire to exhibit or partner, and contact the organising team. Content is for general information. Programme, speakers, packages, prices, dates, and venue may change.

You must not misuse the site: no scraping that degrades the service, no false or automated submissions, no attempts to access the organiser tools or other people’s records, and no uploading of unlawful or infringing material.

We may suspend or refuse a registration, application, or account if we reasonably believe these terms, the law, or the safety of the event is at risk.

Submitting a visitor form is a request to attend. It is not a ticket, a guaranteed seat, or a paid purchase. We may auto-confirm or review registrations. You are confirmed only when we email you a visitor pass or an equivalent written confirmation.

This website does not currently sell paid tickets. When paid tickets open, the price, taxes, and any refund rules will be shown at checkout and will form a separate contract.

A pass is personal. Do not sell, duplicate, or publish the QR code. We may refuse entry if the pass is invalid, already used, or presented by someone else.

A speaker application is a proposal, not a booking. We may accept, decline, or suggest a different format. If accepted, we may list you on the site as described in the privacy policy and you licence us (royalty-free, worldwide, for this edition and reasonable archive/promotion) to use your name, likeness, biography, talk title, and materials you provide, and to photograph or record your session.

You confirm that your materials are yours to licence, are accurate, and will not unlawfully defame others or disclose confidential information. Speaking slots are not paid unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Package descriptions and prices on the site are invitations to talk, not a binding stand contract. A partnership or exhibition booking exists only when both sides sign or accept a written agreement (including email confirmation of commercial terms).

Until then, an enquiry does not reserve space, exclusivity, or branding. We may change packages before a contract is formed.

Dates, venue, speakers, session titles, and the run of show may change. Tech Skills Summit 2026 is still locking calendar and venue; announcements on this site are the source of truth.

If we postpone or change location, your confirmed registration will usually roll to the new date or venue unless we tell you otherwise. If we cancel the edition entirely and you have not paid us, we have no ticket refund to make. If paid tickets exist by then, the checkout terms will say what happens to money paid.

We are not responsible for your travel, hotel, or other costs if the programme changes, is postponed, or is cancelled, including for reasons outside our reasonable control (for example venue failure, public health orders, extreme weather, security, or infrastructure failure).

This is a professional education event. You must follow venue rules, badge instructions, and reasonable directions from our team and venue staff. Harassment, discrimination, disruption, or unsafe behaviour is not allowed. We may refuse or withdraw a pass and ask you to leave without a refund of any optional commercial fees, where those exist.

Do not record private conversations or closed sessions without permission. Public sessions may be recorded by us.

By attending you consent to photography, filming, and livestreaming in public areas and sessions, and to our use of that material to document and promote Tech Skills Summit (this edition and future editions) on this site, social channels, and press. We are not obliged to remove you from crowd shots. Contact contact@dafilabs.com if you have a specific safety or privacy need we can reasonably accommodate.

Anything you submit (messages, abstracts, bios, logos, booth notes) must be lawful and accurate. You keep ownership of it. You give us a licence to use it to operate the site and the event, including publishing approved speaker and exhibitor profiles.

We may remove content that we reasonably believe breaches these terms or the law.

The name Tech Skills Summit, the short name TSS, the mountain device and other logos, and the design of this website are used to identify this annual event and Dafi Labs Private Limited. You may not copy, register, or exploit them without our written permission.

You may link to the public site in a fair, non-misleading way. You may not imply a partnership that does not exist.

Forms are protected by Google reCAPTCHA and are subject to Google’s privacy policy and terms. Maps, analytics (if enabled), social links, and vendor tools are governed by those providers. We are not responsible for their independent practices.

Sessions, labs, and site content are educational and informational. They are not legal, investment, or employment advice. Mention of tools or companies is not an endorsement.

Past programmes described on the site (including internship statistics) are historical. They do not promise a job, internship, visa, or admission to a future programme.

The website is provided as-is. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent allowed by the laws of Pakistan, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, lost data, or travel and accommodation costs, whether arising in contract, tort, or otherwise.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. Our total liability arising out of the website or a free registration, in aggregate, is limited to PKR 10,000 or the amount you paid us for the relevant booking, whichever is higher.

You will reimburse us for losses we reasonably suffer because you submitted false information, infringing materials, or otherwise breached these terms (including a speaker’s content or an exhibitor’s stand activity), except to the extent caused by our own fraud or negligence.

You must be 16 or older to use the registration forms. If you are under 18, you confirm a parent, guardian, or your institute consents to your registration and attendance. We may ask for that confirmation at the door.

Personal information is handled as described in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.

We may update these terms as the edition firms up (for example when tickets go on sale). The date at the top is the current version. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the new terms. For a confirmed paid booking, material changes will not apply retroactively unless the law requires it or you agree.

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, including the Contract Act, 1872 where it applies. The courts of Lahore have exclusive jurisdiction, except that we may seek injunctive relief elsewhere to protect the brand. If a term is unenforceable, the rest still applies.
